New Leader.
Perfect for those who are new into their first leadership role, and need to start getting to grips with the practicalities of leading their first team and delivering through others. Encouraging the development of a flexible approach to leadership, we cover all the core skills associated with leading teams, as well as practicalities such as how to run engaging meetings, providing feedback, and delegating. Maria delivered the Leadership Development Programme for a mutual client who was subsequently then named in the 2013 Sunday Times top 100 places to work.
I have co-delivered the course with her and found her to be highly professional and knowledgeable. She demonstrates a high degree of expertise in management development. This is both in terms of explaining the theory of different models and techniques and in using a case study throughout the programme to creatively apply and embed the learning.
She is sensitive to the different learning styles and motivations of participants. In addition, her style is open and inviting to questions and creates a relaxed, safe learning environment.
