David Huyton
After starting his career in the Civil Service, working for Customs & Exercise, David went on to work for a number of the UK's leading accountancy firms in the City, including Moore Stephens and KPMG.
After many a year commuting to the 'Big Smoke', David took a sabbatical from professional services, swapping his suit and tie for life on the open waves and exploring the Greek islands. Upon 'retiring' from sailing, he launched a VAT advisory practice – which is now one of the largest independent VAT practices in the UK.
Having advised all types of businesses from SMPs to Multinationals during his illustrious career, David has great experience in ensuring businesses maximize their potential and have the administration structures in place to ensure they are viable and successful. He's also pretty good with numbers.
David still enjoys sailing but much of his leisure time now involves rugby. He is an ex-player and a Vice President of Bishop’s Stortford Rugby Club.
